Cooperation means success

Open innovation
SWARCO JOIN&GROW offers clients and partners a platform for joint product and process development for new applications in the relevant target markets.
Collaborative product development has become routine in companies.
Globalization, faster development cycles and the increasing number of product features are a motivation to involve more partners in product and process development. The growing complexity of products and their development also leads companies to increasingly rely on cooperation and knowledge transfer in order to meet rising market expectations which they can no longer fulfil on their own.
Nowadays, relevant market players value cooperation and communication.

No, your submission will not be subject to any obligation of confidentiality. Can I present my idea in person?
Yes, but your submission has to be approved through our evaluation process first. Then, further phone calls, or online or in-person presentations can be arranged.
How long does the evaluation of ideas take?
The evaluation process can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks. Once it has been completed, we will contact you with the result. If further questions arise in the meantime, one of our experts will contact you.
How does the evaluation process work?
Each submission is assessed by a JOIN&GROW project manager and forwarded to an expert from the relevant industrial area. The expert checks the idea against technical, economic, strategic and ecological criteria, and decides to approve or reject it together with an internal idea committee. This process can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks. If further questions arise in the meantime, one of our experts will contact you.
What happens when an idea is approved?
The decision to admit an idea into the JOIN&GROW programme is taken by an expert and the internal idea committee. If the evaluation results in a positive decision, we will let you know and send you the related information, and an expert will contact you by email or call you to discuss the next steps. These are individually tailored to the resulting project that can be set up in each particular case.
What types of projects can emerge following a positive evaluation?
The resulting project or the next steps of a business cooperation can be quite varied in nature – from cooperating on product development, a joint consortium for a funded project, licensing a product idea or signing a supply contract to engaging in strategic cooperation or other options. There are many possibilities that can be considered.
What happens in case of a negative evaluation?
The decision to admit an idea into the JOIN&GROW programme is taken by an expert and the internal idea committee. If the evaluation and the corresponding decision are negative, we will let you know and provide you with a short justification. However, we also reserve the right to reject a submission without justification.
What are some of the reasons why an idea would be rejected?
- The idea is not adapted to the business segments that SWARCO Indusferica is operating in.
- The idea is not new and already known.
- We already have our own project or a project with another partner or partners in this particular area.
- There could be a potential infringement of proprietary rights, or such infringement has not clearly been ruled out.
- The idea’s potential is not compatible with what is envisioned in our strategic business plans.
- The idea is at odds with our company values.
However, we also reserve the right to reject a submission without justification.
