SWARCO Indusferica Talent Award
What can glass filler beads already achieve today and where does untapped potential still lie? The SWARCO Indusferica Talent Award 2026/27 is looking for student workthat pushes these questions further.
The focus is on projects exploring glass filler beads in industrial applications. We're looking for strong approaches in plastics, composites, paints, coatings, additive manufacturing, 3D printing, and construction applications.
Why it's worth applying
Strong ideas deserve visibility - and recognition. That's why we're awarding a total of EUR 3,500 in prize money.
1st place: EUR 1,500
2nd place: EUR 1,000
3rd place: EUR 1,000
Who can apply for the SITA?
The award is open to students who, as part of their studies, are working on materials science topics and the use of glass filler beads in industrial applications.
Eligible applicants include:
- Students at universities and universities of applied sciences
- in the field of materials science
- in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
