Young Talent in the Spotlight: The First SITA to Be Awarded
For the first time in company history, SWARCO Indusferica is presenting the SITA – the Talent Award 2024/25, putting the spotlight on young researchers and their ideas.
The aim of the competition is to recognise outstanding academic achievements, with a focus on applied research in the use of glass beads in industrial applications. Through the SITA, SWARCO Indusferica seeks to promote the development of innovative technologies – and to highlight the value of academic research for industry.
April 19, 2024 – The Talent Award honours ideas and research projects that use glass beads as filler material in various sectors – including plastics, composites, paints, varnishes, coatings, additive manufacturing and building materials. The award is aimed at submissions with a high degree of innovation, real-world applicability and relevance to industry.
By recognising academic excellence, SWARCO Indusferica aims to drive the industrial use of glass beads – and raise awareness of their untapped potential.
Seeking Revolutionary Ideas
Students enrolled at universities and universities of applied sciences in the DACH region are eligible to participate. The call is aimed at fresh concepts, application-focused research and creative solutions. Submitted work should clearly demonstrate how glass beads contribute to improved industrial efficiency.
