Privacy & Cookies

Protecting your personal data is especially important to us. Therefore, we process your data exclusively based on the legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). You generally have the rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation, and objection—provided no legal retention obligation prevents this. If you believe the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have been infringed in any way, please contact us. Of course, you can also file a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.

Below we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website:

Access Data / Server Log Files

We (or our web hosting provider) collect data about every access to our website (so-called server log files). Access data includes: name of the retrieved website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), and the requesting provider. Your IP address is stored on the web server in anonymized form only, making it impossible to trace visits back to specific IP addresses.

We use the log data solely for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security, and optimization of our service. However, we reserve the right to review the log data later if there are concrete indications of unlawful use.

Form Data

All forms on this website are primarily used to establish contact between the visitor and us. All entered data is treated strictly confidentially and not passed on to third parties. After submitting a form, the entered data is stored on the server and sent via email to both the visitor and the website operator for further processing. Optional fields are provided to facilitate communication and follow-up correspondence. We make it a point to mark only essential inputs as required.

Requests that do not lead to a specific business transaction with corresponding retention periods are also stored in our business contacts database to simplify future correspondence and interactions. Furthermore, if we recognize legitimate interest in our products or services from these inquiries, we may use the information for future updates and information. Inactive contacts and inquiry details are deleted after a specific time per our privacy policy.

Newsletter

With the appropriate consent, your name and email address will be stored in our email distribution list to receive newsletters, which may contain promotional information. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included at the bottom of each email. As part of the registration, we and/or our newsletter provider store the time of registration, confirmation, and the IP address used. We are legally obliged to keep a record of these for proof of proper registration.

This does not apply to messages related to an active business relationship. These include technical information, payment processing, inquiries about orders, and similar communications, which may still be sent even after newsletter unsubscription.

Our newsletters are sent via European providers that comply with the GDPR.

Use of Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage and do not contain any personal data. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

When you access our website, we give you the option of choosing whether only functional cookies or also third-party cookies (in categories) are permitted in the browser. Use of Local Visitor Statistics

We record simple visitor statistics with the “WP Statistics” tool. No personal data is collected or processed and your IP address is anonymized without exception. No cookies are set in your browser.

We use this tool to understand which posts and pages on our website are most visited and most interesting to our visitors.

All data is stored locally on our web server and deleted 2 years after the access date.
