SWARCO Indusferica Talent Award
The first SWARCO Indusferica Talent Award (SITA) 24/25 was successfully held to honor outstanding researchers for their scientific and technological achievements in applied research on glass beads for industrial applications.
The application deadline was January 30, 2025. New submissions are therefore no longer possible.

Goal
Recognition of outstanding research that promotes the use of glass beads as a filler material in plastics and composites, paints, varnishes, coatings, additive manufacturing / 3D printing, and building materials.
The award
The SWARCO Indusferica Talent Award 25/26 will once again include prize money. The exact amounts for each placement will be announced once the new edition of the award is launched.

Was können Füllglasperlen heute schon leisten und wo steckt noch ungenutztes Potenzial? Der SWARCO Indusferica Talent Award 2026/27 sucht studentische Arbeiten, die genau das weiterdenken.
Im Mittelpunkt stehen Arbeiten, die sich mit Füllglasperlen in industriellen Anwendungen beschäftigen. Gesucht werden starke Ansätze für Kunststoffe, Verbundstoffe, Farben, Lacke, Beschichtungen, additive Fertigung, 3D-Druck und Bauanwendungen.

Each submission must include:
- The student’s CV
- Confirmation of enrolment at a university or university of applied sciences
- A completed form with the applicant’s contact details

- Please send your complete submission with all attachments in PDF format to indusferica@swarco.com.
- Only submissions that are sent in full to the above e-mail address by the stated deadline will be considered.
